Cant Swim/Homesafe/Save Face/Small Talks/Goalkeeper

This past weekend I had the opportunity to shoot one of the most killer shows ive seen in a long time. I am proud to say most of the talent in this show came from my home state of New Jersey. Its needless to say I am super proud about what is turning out of this state and this area. Here’s the photos from the show at Voltage Lounge in Philly.

Goalkeeper

(A catchy pop-punk band from NJ whos drummer is the most entertaining person Ive come across in a long time.)

Small Talks

Save Face

Homesafe

Can’t Swim

Connor Bracken and the Motherleeds in Asbury Park

There are some performers that have to work at everything and others who have a natural stage presence. Connor Bracken is someone who has an incredible stage presence. He is probably one of my favorite people to capture in photography. He radiates rock and roll through and through. A person cant help but get drawn into any performance he puts on whether he has a full band behind him or just an acoustic guitar, he is incredible. Here are the shots from last nights show at Asbury Park Brewing.

The other night I had the opportunity to see WSTR for the 3rd time this year on their solo tour across the USA. This was their second tour in the USA the first being their tour with Neck Deep. This tour they were joined by label mates PVMNTS and Hold Close.

The Ataris 'so long astoria' with Aspiga, Traverse(Paris) and Goddamnit.

Halloween Night I had the opportunity to see one of my all time favorite albums performed in its entirety. The album I am mentioning is ‘So Long, Astoria’ by The Ataris. This album is well written from start to finished. I still own a physical copy that I’ve listened to so many times it skips during different songs.

The lineup included a band called GODDAMNIT who are a post-punk band from the Philadelphia area. During their set the brought a band they were touring with called Traverse to play with them. Traverse happens to be a band hailing all the way from Paris, France. The band before the Ataris was a band I have seen a few times called Aspiga who are from Southern New Jersey.

The Ataris brought all the energy. Their frontman Kris Roe came out on stage dressed as a member of DEVO which was pretty fun. I have seen this album performed before and I can honestly say It will never get old. Celebrating 15 years since the release the band played song after song from this album. The last song Kris joined the crowd in the pit to join him in singing the lyrics. It was a moment that doesn’t happen to often with most venues having barriers and restrictions.

Here are the photos from the set.

Real Leather

Real leather is a Hardcore band from New Jersey that I had the chance to photograph the same time as Empty. These guys have a serious presence on stage. They also bring their own stage lights which I am a huge fan of. Here are some of the awesome photos from their set.
